The Beginnings
A Rapid Rise
Ches Nadeau founded Total Logistics Control in 1995. Initially, it operated solely as a third-party logistics (3PL) service provider. Over the years, it became apparent to Ches that in order to better control the service levels demanded by our clientele, TLC would need to add assets.
In 1999, Total Logistics Trucking was established with the purchase of two Mack trucks with sleeper cabs. It was at this time that the concept of a Hybrid Carrier was born within the organization. A transportation company that could leverage the benefits of owning and controlling its assets, combined with a 3PL, to help manage volume spikes.
Eventually, Total Logistics Warehousing was created as an independent division with the aim of differentiating itself and highlighting additional services for our existing clients. We also developed a value-added division, which can offer additional consulting and administrative services.
Total Logistics Today
Throughout the company’s evolution, one common denominator has been held as the core philosophy of the company: “customer service first.” As such, we attribute our phenomenal growth story to the daily performance of every employee and driver.
